• RDA Care-Air Fan Module 230V

The CARE-AIR fan module is an essential service accessory to be used when transferring hydrocarbon refrigerant and should feature in the risk assessment process. Good ventilation in the working area will ensure that any vapour from a leak or release will be rapidly dispersed. The fan module is placed at floor level near the working area and can be plugged in up to 5m away. It is recommended to switch the fan on before refrigerant handling commences. Safety Procedure for the work area where HC systems are being serviced:
    • The area must be well ventilated
    • There must be no source of ignition within 3m of the system
    • The area must be monitored with a hydrocarbon detector
    HC Refrigerant Equipment:
    • Plug in the RDA Care-Air Fan Module 3m from the working area and position at floor level.
    • Plug in the RDA Caresaver Universal 3m from the working area and recover the hydrocarbon refrigerant.
    • When the low-pressure lamp has illuminated switch the unit to low pressure override and allow to run for 2 minutes.
    • Pressurise the system with OFN (Oxygen Free Nitrogen) to just above atmospheric pressure.
    • Using a HC sensor check that no hydrocarbon refrigerant is in the air before lighting the brazing torch.
    • Un-braze the connections and complete the service operation.

    Smart Charge 600

Original price was: £2,653.52.Current price is: £2,192.00.
The Smart Charge 600 has been developed to satisfy market demands for a fully automated, control- lable and cost effective method of removing all of the complexities of R600a charging in the service field. Taking most of its inspiration from the much larger production line machine, the Smart Charge 600 has a protected area in which parameters such as Vacuum Time and leak test time are stored. This feature enables larger organisations and manufacturers to have absolute quality control over the service procedure and remove any confusion over these critical requirements, it also prints a receipt at the end of the process for your records. All that the engineer has to do is couple the machine to an empty repaired unit and enter the charge weight, that’s it, the machine then completes a full cycle which incorporates a pressure rise leak test. The engineer is even prompted should there be insufficient gas remaining in the disposable cylinder. We have developed this machine with the engineer in mind it is compact and extremely accurate, there is no longer a need for separate pieces of equipment, this robust little unit does it all. It even features a refrigerant alarm and vacuum pump vent hose attachment for ultimate safety.
